Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Autolade, Inc. (“Autolade”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information in connection with the Autolade platform and website (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Definitions
- Personal Data — information that identifies or relates to an identifiable individual.
- Usage Data — data collected automatically through use of the Service (for example, IP address, browser type, and access times).
- Customer Data — operational data that a customer or its authorized users submit to the Service, such as bookings, shipments, parties, and related records.
- Cookies — small files placed on your device.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and basic profile information from your Google account to authenticate you and provision your account.
- Customer Data. Information you enter into the Service to operate your freight workflows, which may include business contact details of your counterparties (shippers, consignees, carriers).
- Usage Data. IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, and timestamps, including via server logs.
- Cookies. We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service;
- To authenticate users and manage accounts and access;
- To carry out the operations you request — for example, transmitting a booking to a carrier or an export filing to a government system;
- To provide support and respond to your requests;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- To comply with legal obligations; and
- To improve the Service, including using aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify you.
4. Google API Services
Autolade’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use Google sign-in only to authenticate you; we do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your Personal Data. We share information only:
- With service providers (subprocessors) that host and operate the Service on our behalf — including cloud hosting, database, and transactional email providers — under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- With carriers and government systems (for example, ocean carriers and U.S. Customs and Border Protection) when you direct us to transmit bookings, shipping instructions, or export filings;
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and security of Autolade, our users, or the public; and
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Legal Bases (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process Personal Data on the bases of performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent where applicable, and compliance with legal obligations.
7. Data Retention
We retain Personal Data and Customer Data for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Customer Data is retained per our agreement with the relevant customer and deleted or returned within a reasonable period after termination, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. International Transfers
We operate in the United States, and information may be processed there. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your Personal Data, to data portability, and to object to certain processing (GDPR). California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and correct Personal Information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell Personal Information. To exercise any right, contact us at info@autolade.com.
11. Do Not Track
The Service does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice.
